H V H over V soil series webinar

H, V, H/V

SOIL SERIES ENTRY LEVEL

This webinar introduces the fundamentals of the H/V (HVSR or Nakamura) method for passive seismic analysis. Starting from the concepts of resonance and microtremor vibrations, the course explains how H/V spectral features can be used to investigate seismic stratigraphy and site response. Main applications, interpretation criteria and methodological limitations are also discussed through practical examples.

HV Focus on Vs

SOIL SERIES INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

The sequel of the H, V, H/V course, that we recommend following before this course. Here we focus on Vs profiling from constrained H/V curves (constrained with drillings and or surface wave dispersion curves), bedrock mapping and contouring, interpretation in 2D cases

HeeVee webinar

HeeVee: H/V and Vs Contour

SOIL SERIES ADDENDUM

This webinar focuses on the interpretation and visualization of large microtremor datasets through contouring techniques and spatial analysis. Participants will learn how to present H/V data in a concise yet informative way for applications such as bedrock mapping, landslide investigation, rock glacier analysis and sediment transition mapping. Practical examples will be carried out using the new MoHo software HeeVee.

GrillaLens AI in HVSR webinar

GrillaLens: AI in HVSR

SOIL SERIES INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Learn how we have trained neural networks to help you with tasks of signal analysis and interpretation of H/V curves. The brand new GrillaLens automates workflows, improves productivity, and provides new perspectives on data. Without forgetting, however, that the human brain’s “neural network” remains the ultimate and most critical factor.

Dynamic characterization of structures webinar

Experimental Dynamic Characterization of Structures

STRUCTURE SERIES ENTRY LEVEL

This webinar explores the dynamic interaction between engineering structures and subsoils through microtremor and vibration measurements. Participants will learn how to distinguish between the vibration modes of soils and structures, and how these measurements can support seismic assessment, model calibration and the evaluation of structural interventions. This course is addressed to geologists, geophysicists, structural engineers, architects and beyond.
